When students enter their senior year it is typically the time they start thinking about and filling out college applications. The University of Louisville may not be going to the Final Four this year, but they are offering creative writing scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students. You need not be an English major, however you must submit written samples of your work. Award amounts vary, and must also be accompanied by a letter of referral.
The Santa Barbara Foundation offers Creative Writing Scholarships to students who have attended at least four out of the last six years in their school system. Students applying must graduate from a Santa Barbara high school. Students must submit a written application, a copy of whatever work they wish to submit, and a letter of referral from a Santa Barbara teacher.
